Pretty solid. Fair price, friendly family service.
Great food! Rude wait staff! For this price range, I expect better service.
Tried Indian food for the first time and enjoyed the spices and flavors. This restaurant has a large menu, seems very authentic, and the waitstaff helped us narrow down what we might want. The water in the pitchers wasn't cold and they were playing loud YouTube videos on their cell phones in a nearly empty dining area but I don't think it was intentionally rude. Very limited beer options for Burlington as well but overall I'd go back to keep trying new things from the menu.
MoreBest restaurant in town, by far. Excellent portion sizes, tasty food and the paneer kulcha is amazing.
MoreMy family and I have been coming here for years. Often, we call ahead and order lots of naan to bring home with us and eat throughout the week. The owners are really what make this place so wonderful. The food is great! A word of warning, mild spicy is very spicy to me.
MoreGreat food.
Very good food, but small portions. No place to park, which made it difficult for us.
MoreA nice overall restaurant. More available public parking would be helpful if coming from a car, but otherwise it's a really nice place to go.
MoreMediocre food, nice people, over all not worth it.
I would hesitate to recommend this Restaurant to anyone. I placed a delivery order over the phone. Naan we received was 80% burned with big hole on it (not edible), and complimentary rice was spoiled and had bad smell. It was definitely not fresh.
MoreThis place is great! Lunch specials are priced well,I had the Rogan Josh and the lamb was cooked perfectly.Friendly staff.I will definitely come back soon!
MoreThe all you can eat buffet Sunday is incredible! And really cheap!
Food was so so. Malai kofta tasted like it was heated from fridge. More than that the waiter was more interested to chat over the phone than tending to customer. He threw the to go box on the table and when I requested for a check he asked me to come over the register to pay instead of bringing the check to my table. What a worst customer service. Worst experience ever.
MoreMost of the items were almost finished when we went for Sunday buffet around 1:45 pm , could nt find desert also.food taste is average. Charged full price for my 3 year old son. Totally disappointed
MoreEnjoyed everything. Will return. Host and staff were also great.
Food is excellent ! Its super good and the workers are very nice .
Love this place, the food is amazing and there is nothing around like it.
My friends and I regularly go here and love the food. The service is always great and never have to worry about an unfilled glass of water with your spicy lamb vindaloo. You can order most of the dishes with varying spiciness.
MoreGood tasty Indian food and service
Dine in and order fresh, more rewarding than buffet
Was really hungry and ordered a chicken biryani for take out. It the worst food I ever had. Never gonna come back. Salt is the basic ingredient in Indian food. I have no idea what cuisine food these guys are making. Really disappointed. If possible I wouldn't give them even a single star. They asked what spicy level I want, I said hot. Felt like they sprinkled lot of raw chilli powder. I know running a restaurant is a hard job but it's their basic responsiblity to make at least decent food, or something near to food.Shame on this restaurant. Hope India house restaurant takes this review seriously and start serving decent food.
MoreGood indian food.
Not the best food but really cheap lunch specials
Great Indian meals...loved the mango lasse
Yes, I'm Oliver's Dad (see Oliver's review) but still, I have to say the food is excellent. We've been eating there for years. Super friendly and laid back. Highly recommended for wonderful North Indian food - the owners are from near Amritsar)
MoreThis says buffet on some listings, but that's on the weekends. We did enjoy the food at good prices. Parking is on the street next to it. Not sure where to park at night!
MoreGreat food and reasonably priced. The samosas are excellent and everything is spicy but not too spicy
Moreabsolutely nightmare. Our chicken tandoori was burned, the waitress literally carried out our chicken tandoori plate with a wave of smoke, and she had to open the front entrance for the smoke to go away, the appetizer was cold inside, . Lamb curry had 6 pieces of lamb, nothing was tasty. i totally regretted going there.
MoreAbsolutely the best indian in burlington, want some real biryani? stop here.
Great food, love their Keema Naan
I've noticed this place tends to get pretty hit or miss reviews. I for one love this restaurant, but would recommend it mainly for lunch. Their lamb curries are my favorite, and they make some great naans. Their rice is fantastic, although probably loaded with butter (not really health food). I do think their Sunday buffet brunch leaves something to be desired, and their dinner is fine, but lunch is the best bargain. They will tailor the spice level of anything for you, just ask! It's also pretty easy to find discounts for this place in local coupon books.
MoreI love this place and come here quite often. Great food and decent service
Amazing Indian food. The best naan I've ever had but no butter chicken unfortunately and the buffet lacks luster. Samosas are a little more expensive than I'm accustomed too but the food is amaZing.
MoreThey make their own cheese. They are able to accommodate special dietary needs. Very friendly.
MoreBig fan of India House. Our group tried about 15 different things on the menu and every one of us was happy with our meal.
MoreIndia house is the best Indian food in Burlington. I visit India house at least once a week I highly recommend that the chicken tikka masala.
MorePeople are very friendly and price is reasonable. But the food is not tasty and very plent.
MoreThe ethnic food scene in Burlington is a little rough, even the Vietnamese restaurants that have been proliferating lately are not particularly authentic. So, the fact that India House Restaurant does good food that isn't salty and does come in a range of spice options is a nice find
MoreI am a returning customer and go there every week. Great food and great service. They are truly the best indian food in Burlington. I recommend the Seekh Kebab, it's delicious!
MoreExcellent food and wonderful staff. Youvwill be in for a treat if you dine here. My favorite place to eat when in Burlington area.
MoreWe love this restaurant. Always gluten free safe!
Delicious! A quiet, tidy little restaurant with great & friendly service. It was super quiet when I went on a Wednesday night, but that was exactly what I needed. I had the chicken vindaloo, and was happy with my choice. Loved the garlic naan too!
MoreNothing fancy, nothing bad! Rice was flavorless but smelled great, garlic naan was burned but regular naan was good, sea food was alright but with a ton of onion a d peppers. First and last visit.
MoreI really enjoy eating here. I have lunch at India house at least once a week. The food is great. The people are friendly and the service quick.
MoreExcellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. Will be back.“ “What a lovely restaurant YUMMY!!!“ Love Indian food, best restaurant in the Burlington.
MoreI routinely eat and get take-out for the great value. One of the best tasting and best priced restaurants in the Burlington area.I recommend asking for highly spiced food, as asking for lowly spiced can result in bland dishes.
MoreOne of the best restaurant in Burlington Vermont. The home for delicious foods
Pretty sure there was actually no cook on board for the evening. Food presented as heated-up leftovers.
MoreA love but the love of crooks. Piestly of love noted. Incorrects do sizes it. Top oriental. Flavors. Weddings. Fears. I do guests the ugly village though. A small space of love. Rests of piests. Alone. Loves. Fearing chefs. Since the ages of 2009. Again. With love. Firsts the meals. I love it. People. Me then. Thus. You.The sames. None. A jew But Never riches. To love it.
MoreGood food and good service at a reasonable price. I love the many flavors of Naan bread.
